Progress...

Since the beginning of our coursework i believe that our progress has been fairly limited. This is due to a number of reasons. Firstly and most importantly i don't think we have dedicated ourselves enough to the work. We have often put it off or not strived to get the work done. This means that only a small amount of time so far has been donated to our coursework which has put us quite a bit behind. I also think a lack of good planning is one of the reasons we are currently behind. We haven't organised ourselves well enough and have not planned shooting very well. This resulted in incosistencies with our fottage and thus resulted in us needing to go back and rethink some parts which has cost us even more time. Furthermore, i think that there are many things we haven't taken into consideration. We haven't conisdered the real world difficulty of some of our adverts and also locations in which to film them. On top of this i don't believed we relaised how long it would take to actually capture some high quality footage and edit it to a good standard. Although these things are all negatives it has opened our eyes in a way. We have come to many realisations about this coursework that will hopefully allow us to progress at a much quicker and constant pace than we were previously. We have realised that organisation is key to getting work done quickly and well. We have also realised that we need to be stricter with ourselves and maintain better control over our coursework as to not fall far behind and get things done how they need to be. On top of these realisations i believe we have gained a better understanding of how to use lighting as we previously didn't consider it in a way we should have. We have also learnt the ways in which not to approach our coursework. Looking to the future i think that more planning, better organisation and much more effort are key to helping us to progress forward better and improve the standard of our corusework.
