Script for advert 1

This advert is meant to be cheesy and corny so all the comments and exclamations should be emphasized and laid on.

Good cop: C’mon Jimmy, you gotta tell us sooner or later.

(Good cop is calm and collected and doesn’t look intimidating. Gesturing to Jimmy)

Jimmy: It’s hard to explain!... you just don’t understand!

(Jimmy is looking visibly scared and upset, sulking over the table even though the good cop is trying to relate to him. On a further note this could also be because Jimmy knows the terrible truth of the planets fate.)

Good cop: Then help me understand.

(Remaining civilized and calm, charismatic

Bad cop: We don’t have time for this Simon (good cop)

(Bad cop slams his clenched fist on the table, looking visibly frustrated and intimidating Jimmy. He is the polar opposite of the good cop)

Good cop: Just a minute, just a minute, we can handle this in a civilized manner, can’t we Jimmy?

(Calmly trying to contain the situation and coerce Jimmy into revealing the truth, there is an undertone of sarcasm in the good cops voice as he questions Jimmy)

Jimmy: YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND!

(Shouting, with an element of desperation in his voice)

Bad cop: THAT’S IT! Just gimme 5 MINUTES with him! 5 MINUTES!

(Bad cop is now extremely frustrated and finds Jimmy’s lack of co-operation tedious)

Good cop: Bruce calm down.

(Still remaining composed and trying calm the bad cop, however he is curious to see whether the bad cops intimidation methods will work.)

Bad cop: 5 MINUTES!

(Shouting angrily)

Good cop: As you can see, my partner is getting pretty impatient, be wise Jimmy and just tell us who it was.
(Calm and composed but is eager to get Jimmy to talk)


Bad cop: YOU ARE GETTING ON MY LAST NERVE PUNK! TALK!

(Shouting angrily)

Jimmy: OK OK IT WAS US, ALL OF US, WE ALL MURDERED THE WORLD!

(Jimmy is shouting as the truth is revealed but still remains scared and worried. Both cops look taken aback and shocked with their mouths open)
